[From ishimusic.com] Ishi was born as an experiment between friends in Dallas, TX. In 2006, JT Mudd & Brad Dale set out to create a sound that would redefine their own voice in modern day music. Their vision was to blend the classic, soulful story-telling and organic instrumentation of traditional folk music, with the infinite sonic possibilities offered through electronic production. Experimentation quickly evolved into a journey of sound that would ultimately lead to Ishi’s debut, Through the Trees, released May of 2010 and Digital Wounds April of 2013.
Juno released on September, 16th for the band’s fifth independent release and the third EP of their catalog. The new collection of songs range from funk, nu disco, and indie rock bathed in the gospel of Prince/LCD Sound System. Ishi teamed up again with UK artist James Marsh most known for his creative album concepts with experimental UK band Talk Talk.

[From Los Angeles Philharmonic.com] The New York Times gracefully calls them, “The most visible yet invisible pop figures in the entire world.” Known all over the world as LEGACI, these 4 gentlemen have been wowing audiences with their harmonies and vocal acrobatics. Micah, Jason, Chris, and Del all hail from the San Francisco Bay Area and for years shared a passion to make music that moves people; and move people they did.
With over 25 million views and counting, it was Legaci’s YouTube channel and their cover of Justin Bieber’s smash hit “Baby” that got the attention of Bieber and his manager, Scooter Braun. Legaci was asked to tour with Justin as his official backing group. They accepted, and since then they have traveled exclusively with Bieber, singing for millions of anxious fans in 22 different countries around the world. During the middle of every concert, Justin introduces Legaci to his audience and has them perform their own mix of a cappella pop melodies. Giving them the spotlight each night, Justin has Legaci appear center stage, where they show the screaming crowds that they are not just ordinary backup singers. Since their start with Bieber, Legaci has performed their medley for more than 130 of his shows.
Legaci’s fame has been steadily rising. With over 140,000 subscriptions, Legaci is recognized as one of the most popular singing groups on all of YouTube. As a social networking phenomenon, Legaci maintains over 40,000 “likes” on Facebook and over 120,000 combined followers on Twitter.

Legaci has been no stranger to major media outlets, sharing the stage with Bieber on shows such as The Oprah Show, Saturday Night Live, The View, The Tonight Show with David Letterman, and The Late Show with Conan O’Brien. They were also chosen to accompany Bieber for Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, The American Music Awards, and the MTV’s Video Music Awards in 2010. Continuing with Bieber throughout 2011, they performed for shows such as Dancing with the Stars, The Today Show, The European Music Awards, The Rockefeller Tree Lighting Special, The Disney Christmas Parade, and most recently for the President of the United States for Christmas in Washington, D.C.

Brett Mitchell
Conductor
Hailed for delivering compelling performances of innovative, eclectic programs, Brett Mitchell was named the fourth music director of the Colorado Symphony in 2016 and concluded his four-year appointment in 2021. He is currently artistic director and conductor of Oregon’s Sun River Music Festival.
Brett concluded his tenure as associate conductor of The Cleveland Orchestra in 2017. He joined the orchestra as assistant conductor in 2013 and was soon promoted, becoming the orchestra’s first associate conductor in more than three decades. In this role, he led the orchestra in many concerts each season at Severance Hall, Blossom Music Center, and on tour. He also served as music director of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, which he led on a four-city tour of China. In 2019, he returned to Cleveland to lead subscription performances of the film An American in Paris, and in 2021, he returned to conduct the orchestra at the Blossom Music Festival.
From 2007 to 2011, Brett led more than 100 performances as assistant conductor of the Houston Symphony. He also held assistant conductor posts with the Orchestre National de France and at the Castleton Festival. In 2015, he completed a successful five-year tenure as music director of the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra.
As an opera conductor, Brett has conducted nearly a dozen productions, principally during his tenure as music director of Houston’s Moores Opera Center. His repertoire spans the core works of Mozart, Verdi, and Stravinsky, as well as contemporary works.
Brett is consistently in demand as a guest conductor throughout North America, Europe, and New Zealand; and he has an affinity for mentoring talented young musicians aspiring to be professional orchestral players.
Born in Seattle in 1979, Brett holds degrees in conducting from the University of Texas and composition from Western Washington University, which selected him as its 2014 Young Alumnus of the Year. He studied at the National Conducting Institute and was selected by Kurt Masur as a recipient of the inaugural American Friends of the Mendelssohn Foundation Scholarship. Brett was also one of five recipients of the League of American Orchestras’ American Conducting Fellowship Program.
